Christian grew up around conversations about money. In the Nimmo household, financial services wasn’t just a profession. It was part of everyday life. His father and grandfather both worked in the industry. His mom spent her career at a bank, and Christian grew up hearing stories about the markets, families navigating difficult decisions, and the responsibility that comes with helping people make wise financial choices.

He had a paper route at 12, and invested part of his savings, earning enough to buy his first car at 16. Then came the late 1990s and the collapse of the Dot-com bubble.

Watching the emotional toll those years took on people had a lasting impact on the young intern. He realized financial advice wasn’t really about stocks or account balances—it was about helping people stay grounded when fear, uncertainty, and major life decisions collided. That realization shaped the course of his career.

While studying finance at UW–Whitewater, Christian became increasingly drawn to the human side of planning, so he began pursing a psychology degree as well to better learn how people make decisions, what gives them confidence, and why clarity matters so much during seasons of transition.

Over the years, he built his experience as a financial advisor with Wells Fargo, UBS, and later Stifel, where he established the Janesville office in 2017. But regardless of the firm name on the building, his approach remained the same: steady guidance, thoughtful planning, and helping clients align their financial lives with what matters most to them.

Today, Christian is the Co-Founder of Nimmo Wealth Partners alongside his sister, Rachael, continuing a family legacy while helping shape its next chapter. His passion is helping clients bring order to complexity, make wise decisions with confidence, and create financial plans that support the lives they truly want to live.

Clients often describe Christian as calm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. He listens without judgment, values long-term relationships, and believes that trust is earned not through big promises, but through consistency over time.

Outside the office, Christian’s life revolves around faith, family and fitness. He and his wife Michelle have been married for more than 20 years and are raising six children together. Whether he’s coaching youth sports, training for endurance events, spending time in Door County, or simply being present with family, he believes some of life’s most meaningful investments happen far away from a computer screen.
