Rachael Nimmo’s path into financial services began not with spreadsheets or markets, but with people.
Growing up in a multi-generational family involved in the industry, she saw firsthand that the most meaningful part of wealth management wasn’t just the numbers—it was the relationships. The conversations during important life moments. The trust families placed in the people guiding them. And the care required to help clients feel supported during seasons of transition and decision-making.
In 2009, Rachael officially joined the family team alongside her father and brother at UBS. Early on, she brought her natural gifts for hospitality, creativity, and organization into the business, focusing on client events, communication, and creating meaningful experiences that helped clients feel welcomed and connected.
Over time, her role evolved alongside the needs of the firm and the families it served.
After earning her Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation, Rachael began working more closely with retirement plan clients while continuing to expand her operational and service responsibilities. She later earned her Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and became the organizational backbone of the team—overseeing client service, operations, and the countless behind-the-scenes details that help families feel cared for and supported.
When the team established its own office at Stifel in 2017, Rachael took on an even greater leadership role, helping build the systems, processes, and client experience that became central to the practice’s identity.
Today, as Co-Founder and Director of Operations at Nimmo Wealth Partners, Rachael oversees the day-to-day operational management of the firm and helps shape the experience clients have at every stage of the relationship.
Her unique background in hospitality, operations, and licensed financial services allows her to bring together warmth and structure in a way clients immediately feel. Whether coordinating complex requests behind the scenes or simply creating an environment where clients feel comfortable and understood, Rachael believes the little things matter—because trust is often built in the details.
Clients know her as thoughtful, organized, responsive, and deeply caring. She has a gift for bringing calm to complexity and helping people feel at ease during moments that might otherwise feel overwhelming.
Outside the office, Rachael enjoys raising her daughter, Addie, alongside their spirited dog, Poppi. She loves thoughtful design, creating welcoming spaces, and hosting gatherings that bring people together—an extension of the same warmth and intentionality she brings to her work every day.
